It's been a very long day of travel, but we are here safe and sound! We met our shuttle driver at 5:45 a.m. and arrived at El Ayudante around 6:00 p.m. In between, we navigated the gigantic Atlanta airport, checked 20 bags, flew for 3 hours, went through customs and loaded all our bags onto the bus. Then we stopped for a late lunch, followed by a 4 hour drive to El Ayudante, outside of Comayagua.
We are tired but happy to be here! We were greeted warmly by the staff and fed a delicious dinner. Now we are collapsing into bed to be ready in time for church services tomorrow. Pray for good rest and a productive day of training tomorrow.
