VBS, Family Night, and Hump Day!

We are halfway through our time here. It has been a busy, busy day! We taught VBS, and prepared and taught Family Night at a local church.  We are all exhausted and ready for bed, so here are some pictures of today!

The children at VBS were excited to get snacks after playing outside!
The kindergarten children loved the stories about creation and the effects of sin.
Even the bigger kids were interested!
This is the church where we hosted Family Night. Their pastor is a 19 year old girl!
41 families came to play games and learn about Jesus.
At one rotation, families received Bibles and learned how to look up verses.

Some of the children helped their parents because they couldn't read.

Families learned to play Uno and received a deck of Uno cards to take home.

We played Frisbee games with the families and gave them a Frisbee to take home.
Families talked about how to pray for one another and made prayer bags with requests for family and friends.

At the end, everyone got a snack and we invited them to church with us tomorrow night!

After such a busy day, this is the view we had around the mission house...

Good night everyone!
